Redwood Shores is a special place on the San Francisco peninsula. The landscaped parkways, native bay front environment, waterways of the lagoon, our school and many other unique attributes, have brought each one of us to live and work in Redwood Shores. The Redwood Shores Community Association (RSCA) is your neighborhood organization that is committed to the issues of Redwood Shores, representing our entire community.

Comprised of a Board of Directors of as many as 25 Directors, RSCA is focused on:

• Community Advocacy: Bringing to the forefront, matters of concern, and advising civic and community leaders on important community topics such as levee access, traffic, and the quality of life:


• Community Information: Bringing to everyone that lives and works in Redwood Shores, information on residents, businesses and issues through the monthly publication of the Pilot, and distributed at no cost to everyone that lives and works in the Shoes; sponsoring community meetings such as last year’s City Council Candidate’s Forum, and design meetings for our new branch library:


• Community Activities: Hosting and sponsoring community events where our neighbors and our children may meet and enjoy the holidays, such as the Annual Easter Eggstravaganza, our first Concert in the Park, the Annual Levee Clean-up, the Annual Halloween Parade; Santa Comes to the Shores and Light Up the Shores.

The Board of Directors of RSCA is a dedicated group of volunteers that is committed to our community. Your membership fee of $35 is entirely re-invested into our community and the sponsorship activities of the Board.

Most importantly though, by renewing your membership, you are letting us know of your support. For those that have renewed for 2005, on behalf of the Board, thank you for your continued support. If you have not renewed yet, it is not too late!
